When you write to us, we collect the information entered in the form: name, email, telephone number, enquiry type and message; when supplied, the date, number of guests and lunch or dinner preference. We use this information to respond, manage table, takeaway or event requests, and contact you. Please avoid entering unnecessary sensitive data in the free-text field.

Requests are processed to take pre-contractual steps at the request of the individual; further applicable obligations may be based on legal requirements. Consent for marketing communications is neither requested nor used: the website does not offer promotional subscriptions.

3. Sending messages and service providers

The website is hosted on Netlify. The form uses Netlify Forms to collect and manage enquiries and filter spam. Notifications are intended for trattoriacarotti@libero.it. Data is accessible to authorised restaurant staff and the technical providers involved in operating the website and email service.

4. Data retention

Enquiry data is retained for the time needed to respond and manage the requested booking, takeaway or event, taking into account any applicable legal obligations. 5. Your rights

Where provided for by applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to the contact above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

6. Cookies, fonts and external content

This website does not include analytics, advertising, social tracking pixels or embedded maps. It does not load fonts from external services. Your language preference (Italian or English) is saved in your browser only when you use the language selector, to remember your choice. It is not used for profiling. Gallery preferences remain in memory during your visit. In browsers that need it, page transitions use a temporary technical value in browser session storage. It is removed on the next page and is not used for tracking or profiling.

Links to Google Maps, Facebook and Tripadvisor open only when you choose to follow them. The hosting and form-management services may process technical connection information to provide and protect the service.

7. Photographs

The gallery photographs of the dishes and dining room are supplied by Trattoria Carotti. The historical photograph is a digitally enhanced version supplied for this website. Introductory images include restaurant photographs and compositions created with the assistance of artificial intelligence from photographs of its dishes. They do not document daily menu availability.
